Quilting a vintage quilt top tonight!

Tips:
1) If you have a vintage quilt top in storage, have it quilted before you wash it. Small woven seams are secured by the quilting process, but washing them before quilting can make them unravel and pull through.
2) Store your quilt tops in a climate controlled area wrapped in white tissue paper. Attics and carfboarf boxes can lead to broken dreams when they heat up, leak or otherwise discolor your quilt top while waiting to be quilted. If this happens, see Tip #1
