ART FROM COLLECTIONS brings together a diverse selection of works spanning digitally enhanced transfer photography, sculpture, plein air painting, landscapes and wildlife.

Featuring works by Chuck Kimball, Adele Earnshaw, Joe Garcia, Warren Bakley, Will Gullette, Vira Ustianska and Krentz Johnson.

Painting is a journey. Each new piece needs a map --where should I go, and how should I get there? Drawing, color, value, and composition are elements I use to reach the destination. The journey is always on my mind.

Internationally known artist, Joe Garcia, shows works in oil, watercolor and pencil in a variety of subjects. Garcia keeps a rigorous painting schedule every day, all year. He thinks of each new piece as a puzzle to solve, refining technique and composition to create a painting. He is the author of Mastering the Watercolor Wash and The Watercolor Bible, now classic North Light books on watercolor painting techniques. Joe Garcia lives in Julian, California, part of San Diego County’s mountainous backcountry, a perfect environment for a painter of nature.

Imagining Children's Visions is made possible through the creativity and collaboration of the Art Center of Ramona, Ramona High School Art Department, San Pasqual Academy, and the Ilan-Lael Children's Summer Art Program.

Art is light, it shines like a billion balls of sparks and kisses of starlight, Art is bright.

Art is shadow, that runs from the lantern of glare as we stare upon the night.

Art is touch, we feel texture of the rock and roughness of the bark of the bough

We close our eyes and feel with fingers now.

Art is reflection, a mirror of a soul, the paint that does not hide, the insight and the goal.

Art is the lens, as the colors travel and bends,

The image, the figure, the symbol, the metaphor imprinted what was sought and seeking for.
