New Fall and Winter Day-Camp registration is open! Kids ages 6 to 12 can spend their break on hands-on art, science, and imagination, with friends, experienced guides, and plenty of play.

We're open this Monday, October 12th, on Indigenous Peoples' Day ☀️

There is also an event happening nearby at the JC with Native speakers, vendors, food, drumming, and dancing. It's a wonderful chance for families to celebrate, learn from, and connect with local tribes.

The Children's Museum of Sonoma County sits on the traditional land of the Southern Pomo people who, along with the Coast Miwok and Mishewal Wappo people, are the indigenous peoples of the land now called Sonoma County.

Indigenous peoples are the first inhabitants and caretakers of this land. We are grateful for their histories, relationships, and ecological expertise, and we are lucky to be able to share some of that knowledge here at the Museum in consultation with the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center.

Join us Thursday, Oct 22 from 4:30-8:00 PM and Friday, Oct 23 from 3:00-8:00 PM for two evenings of spooky (not scary) fun! Bring the whole family for a magical evening of pumpkins, potions, music, and mayhem. It’s Halloween fun like only the Museum can do!
