Intimate and inspiring zoom classes inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach taught by artist, Laura Alvarez, MFA. Laura received her M.F.A.

Laura was the art teacher at Crossroads Elementary School, the studio teacher at First Presbyterian Nursery School, taught the Reggio approach at Santa Monica College, Pacific Oaks College, as well as at a number of education conferences. Having studied the Reggio Emilia approach in Italy, she sees the teacher as a facilitator and co-researcher. from San Francisco Art Institute. She is currently writing a parenting book inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Happy Back to School! And here we have... All in a day's... ARTwork! Brushstroke experimentation, Getty Center field trip to see how illuminated manuscripts can inspire a student's comic books, and discovering some new art "how to" books that look really promising -- my weakness!
And, as a side note, my Wednesday after school slot just opened up if you know any budding young artists that require dedicated instruction or guidance on their art send them my way. Thanks!
