On January 23rd, I entered my first art class scared and excited. If I went back in time and told myself I’d be as good at art as I am today, I don’t think I’d believe myself. I wasn’t the greatest in the class, and I fell slightly behind my classmates, but I worked hard with my homework to get here.
On March 2nd , I finished my first work of art. “Arya on the Beach.” Back then, I couldn’t believe my eyes on how well I’ve done. I certainly made up for the missed classes! All of the hard work paid off.
One year later, I now decide to revisit “Arya on the Beach”.
My parents took away the original “Arya on the Beach” so I could focus on my new artwork with an open mind without comparing my work.
When I was finished, I put the two side by side and backed away and I have to admit, it was awe inspiring on how far I’ve come. I was so shocked at how far I’ve come and have never noticed how far until now, and I’m happy to say I’m an artist! Thank you to my Teacher, Punches . I couldn’t have done it without you.
