New Pop art piece of a white bison is a collaboration with wildlife photographer . This piece, inspired by Shepard Fairey, is my version of the American flag and my hope for our country can one day reunite as one. Like the majestic bison endured after near extinction. The white bison signifies great power and hope.

Navarre Scott Momaday was an American and Kiowa novelist, short story writer, essayist, and poet from Oklahoma and New Mexico. His novel House Made of Dawn was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1969, and is considered the first major work of the Native American Renaissance. RIP

Had the pleasure to meet Geronimo great-great-grandson last night on Zoom. Spurred me to edit photos I took last Fall while visiting a museum and historic landmark near Skeleton Canyon Arizona where Geronimo and the Apache surrendered from years of fighting for freedom and dignity.
