Some weddings feel touched by a bit of fairy dust — and this one truly did. 💛

Beneath the redwoods of Sequoia Retreat Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains, these two beautiful souls promised forever. Their love filled the forest — joyful, tender, and full of laughter. When the Bride walked down the aisle to “Double Trouble” from Harry Potter, you could feel the magic sparkle in the air.

I shared a reading that I wrote about what it means to be married in the redwood forest — about love that’s strong, rooted, and always reaching toward the light. Their ceremony felt like a living reflection of that — a Midsummer love story filled with wonder and joy.

What an amazing family! When you can't go to Hawaii to elope, you can have that feeling of Aloha in Santa Cruz. I ordered the lei for the groom from the Hawaiian Lei Company. The beautiful bouquet was part of their elopement package, made by Seascape Flowers.
