RevArt is highlighting, Feixue Mei, a RevArt members work.

Feixue Mei is a Virginia-based designer, researcher, and transmedia artist exploring interdisciplinary storytelling and counter-archival practices. She is the founder of Boundless Bound Publishing, a participatory platform dedicated to original works and open-call collaborations that challenge traditional narratives and archives.

Mei earned her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at James Madison University. Her work has been featured in cultural and institutional spaces including Lux Capital, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.

RevArt is highlighting, Tomie Deng, a RevArt member’s artwork

By creating a symbolic expression-tomie in her painting, Tomie Deng depicts hidden desires and despairs in people’s sincere hearts. Tomie is bold in her paintings and, in such a way, expresses the Chinese younger generation’s attitude. Through this, she communicates with her audience to “be the bravest version of yourself.” Tomie Deng is a successful uprising contemporary fine artist in China; her artworks have been exhibited in more than 40 art shows. She grows her popularity, especially in big cities and among the younger generations.
