Marianne Romeo is a local photographer and co-founder of the Mural Project. She shoots all film and processes it by hand, rare in most photographers these days. She recently returned from a epic six month journey throughout Africa and parts of the Middle East where she painted murals, in conjunction with the women and children of local centers, in Kenya, Ethiopia and Israel. This show will feature stunning cyanotype portraits of the people of Africa and a slide show of her journey. The Mural Project is locally founded and funded and all sales directly support the next phase of the project. Friday August 10, 6-9. Refreshments will be served.
