Heritage Museum of Orange County is one of the most interesting cultural and natural history centers in Southern California. The centerpiece of the museum, which covers nearly 12 acres in all, is a historic plaza featuring several buildings from the 1890s set amid extensive floral gardens and citrus groves. 🤗🧵Our hearts are “SEW” full! 397 students were able to visit HMOC and take part in our collaborative quilt project through the Artist Grant sponsored by the !

Pauline Halloran, HMOC Program Coordinator and Jazley Morales representing City Councilmember Thai Phan are showing the completed quilt created from the quilt squares that the students from MLK, Diamond, Lowell, Roosevelt-Walker, Carl Harvey elementary schools with ! The quilt will be on exhibit through the summer available to view by Museum visitors. 🙌

With roaming dinosaur characters, Jurassic Park Jeeps, fossils, paleontologists, archaeology, crafts, Blacksmith shop demos, immersive education stalls, food/dessert trucks, gold panning, tortoise meet and greets, themed photo ops, as well as the many nonprofit booths that will be around the grounds, it’s one of our favorite and biggest events of the year and you don’t want to miss it!!
