The Sanford History Museum’s fundraiser cookbook will be available next week! It contains nearly a hundred pages of mouth-watering recipes. A big thank you to everyone who contributed recipes!
There are two ways to get Cookbook(s):
LOCAL ORDERS: Call and leave a message for one of these Board members to arrange to pick up your book(s) and pay by cash or by check to Sanford History Museum, $20 per copy.

We need your recipes! Please email your recipe to [email protected] no later than 11/4/2022.
A photo is fine as long as it is legible. We plan to have this fundraiser cookbook ready in time for the holidays.

We are open this afternoon. (Sat July 16) Please join us this evening at 6pm for Gather and Gab, a fun evening for sharing memories as part of our oral history project.

🎶 🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸
We are open today until 6 p.m. We are enjoying some patriotic band music. Did you know that Sanford used to have its very own brass band? Here they are in 1893. The drawing is part of the Sanford Museum Coloring Book.
Come and see us! We may be open on some additional dates as well. If you drive by and the OPEN sign is on the door, feel free to drop in.
The museum will be open from 2-6 pm, with a presentation beginning at 4:00. Stay tuned for more information about our plans for Heritage Month!

Thank you to all of the Veterans out there who have served our country! The Museum will be open today from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. if you would like to stop by and see the wonderful military collection honoring our very own Veterans.
