We have been working hard to get the next art show up and running, and we are happy to announce that the "Drift" art show is opening it's doors on April 24th! This show will highlight marine science artwork from Monterey Bay science illustrators, Andrea Dingeldein ( ), Emily Hess ( ), and DJ Jackson ( ).
In addition to the main gallery, there will also be a behind the scenes look into the mind of a scientific illustrator on display, which will highlight how art and science merge together to form a unique artistic niche.
Sylvan gallery will be taking every possible COVID precaution to ensure the safety of our staff, artists, and visitors. Our reception will take place outside with a limited number of visitors allowed inside the gallery at one time. Masks will be mandatory and traffic will be one way.
