It’s been a minute since our last post but behind the scenes we are moving along! After many phone calls and many different ideas we finally found someone who was willing and confident that they can redo the original tank! So on Thursday we took our gas tank and went on a trip, a trip all the way out to ambler where the tank has been dropped off and hopefully in the next 2-4 weeks it’ll be back and she’ll be ready to growl again!

Against all odds she made it to her last show of the season! Come out and see us at Duryea day!

Huston we have a problem!

Guess we need to track down a new gas tank.

We tried patching it and while it did end up getting us through one more day the repair just wasn’t up for the challenge.

And standard fashion this is a case where there isn’t a standard part that matches the original.

Thank you Pottsgrove Future Falcons for helping bring out her shine! We appreciate your hard work!

WOW — WHAT A DAY!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Sanatoga Fire Company Car Show and Open House!

With 80 plus cars filling the show and an incredible crowd throughout the day, we could not have asked for a better turnout. It was great seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and watching people stop to check out 58-81, ask questions, share memories, and hear a little more about what we have been working on.

For us, getting to finally show her off at home was pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who brought a car, stopped by to visit, supported the vendors, made a donation, shared a story, or simply came out to spend the day with us. And of course, a huge thank you to all of the members and volunteers who put in the time behind the scenes to make the entire event happen.

More than 80 cars. A fantastic crowd. One old fire van back where she belongs.

Thank you for making the day one we will not soon forget!
