We are a unique town as we have many historical sites not only in our location but around town as well. Our site offers The Cox House & Bidwell House both built by Jacob Uhland in 1888 & 1890; Connor's Hall built in 1940; Historical Museum; Gazebo; Native Gardens; Old Time Fire Truck; Vegetable Garden; and we offer our Hands on History Program for groups of all sizes.

The next San Marcos Concert at the Woods House is Saturday, August 24 from 5:30-9:30. We will have a bake sale table where we will be selling goodies and all proceeds help us fund important projects!
The Historical Society at Heritage Park will be closed August 25-September 7. We will be open again starting Tuesday, September 10 from 1-4:30 pm.
Please note the museum will be closed from June 27- July 5.
Our Festival of Kites is coming up this Saturday. Come to the park from 11-3 to build, decorate and fly kites! Come one, come all!
A huge thank you to the students from CSUSM who participated in the Cesar Chavez Day of Service. Because of you, we have a beautifully refreshed garden! Also a huge thank you to Vallecitos Water District for providing the resources for this project. Together you did an incredible job!
