Yesterday, we received our first set of fireproof/fire-resistant file and storage cabinets courtesy of the California Military Department.

Shown here is SSG(CA) Jim Yellis, Curator of the 40th Infantry Division Museum, unpacking these items.

Valued at just under $10,000, these cabinets will be used to store and protect historic photographs and documents. Next fiscal year we will be ordering $20,000 worth of these cabinets as well as standard artifact shelving for the Museum Support Center-South, Camp San Luis Obispo
