We were honored to participate in Irvine Valley College’s DEIA Day and grateful for the opportunity to be part of the panel and opening ceremony.

Thank you to IVC for welcoming the Blas Aguilar Adobe Museum to share about Acjachemen culture, history, and the importance of educating the community through Indigenous knowledge and lived experience.

We were also proud to introduce our new signage featuring Acjachemen plant names, helping uplift language, land based knowledge, and cultural continuity.

A special thank you to Climate Science Alliance for their Hear Our Names project, which helps amplify Indigenous language and the connection between plants, place, and identity.

We also extend our gratitude to the participants of this event, including the Gabrielino-Shoshone Nation of Southern California, for sharing their knowledge, presence, and voices.

Opportunities like this allow us to continue sharing our stories, honoring our ancestors, and strengthening connections with the broader community.

Join us at PANHE 2026 🌿

The Blas Aguilar Adobe Foundation will be there sharing a special cultural display featuring artifacts and stories that reflect the deep history of the Acjachemen people and early life in Orange County.

PANHE is more than an event, it is a gathering rooted in protection, preservation, and community. A place where culture is shared, traditions are honored, and connections to the land are remembered.

Come visit our display, learn, and spend the day surrounded by Native singers, dancers, storytelling, demonstrations, and local artisans.
