Studio marina paz creative art space for sharing and learning

Looking for a creative space where your child can explore, experiment, and grow as an artist?

Our multidisciplinary art classes are designed for children ages 7–13 and introduce students to a wide variety of artistic techniques and materials. We draw, paint, create mixed-media projects, experiment with sculpture, printmaking, collage, and more—encouraging imagination, confidence, and creative thinking in a fun, supportive studio environment.

Class Schedule
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
• 5:00–6:30 PM
• Ages 7–13

Whether your child is just beginning or already loves making art, these classes provide the opportunity to develop skills while expressing their unique creativity.

For quite some time I wanted to try this really easy yet hypnotizing technique with oil pastels. I make it a habit before I present the idea in the class, first I try it myself and film it so it’s easier to show than explain since my method of teaching is only suggestive , students have to come up with their own composition. Why haven’t I tried this oil pastel technique before? As ridiculous as it may sound because only recently I stumbled upon watercolor artist that shared her tools and she mentioned a masking tape that she uses that doesn’t damage the paper or paint 🤩

The last stop on our art summer camp journey was in China and we honored it by creating sculpted / painted most iconic Chinese symbol 🐉 my young studio artists as always worked tirelessly on every detail and texture to create their own mystical creature
