There are shows happening at Syz!This Saturday, 10/18, we have a Halloween Cover Show!

We have a Live folk and punk covers featuring Ry Modee, The Blarneys, Asunder Sweet, Gillian Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Recovered, and Mr. Caitlin.

Expect Irish tunes, Appalachian ballads and more.

Doors 7/Show 8. Donation-based. Costumes expected. BYOB.

Come One, Come All to an art show most merry! Showcasing artists, creatives, and other knaves and rogues of all degrees from the Syzygy community!
Public gallery in an immersive Fantasy realm, with art, prints, and media for sale. Enjoy a day of arts, crafts, games, music and merriment! Costumes most encouraged.
When: August 9th, 1pm-4pm
Where: Syzygy SF, 395 S Van Ness.
$$: Free, donation to help keep the lights on encouraged.

SUMMER CLOTHING SWAP
July 27 - 1-4pm
Bring the clothes you don't want and exchange them for clothes you do want. All clothes not claimed by the end of the swap will be donated to Community Thrift in the mission after the event.

Check out Flipside record club each 3rd Thursday of the month.

Bring some records and share your favorite tunes with us! This event is free and open to the public - any and all are welcome to come and listen! Sharing sign ups are on a first-come-first-served basis, so please add your name to the whiteboard when you arrive.

Don’t have records and want to share? Browse the San Francisco Public Library’s collection and check out records with a library card!

BYOB and food! No registration is required.

The weather is warming up but we are keeping things chill at Syz! Join us this month for more of the same great events:
Tuesday 5/7 7-9pm : Game Jam x Open Mic - Combining elements of a game jam and an open mic, this is an opportunity for game designers (anyone who has thought seriously about how to get people to play) to bounce their ideas off of each other and the general public. FREE.
Saturday 5/17 1-4pm: Art Market & Expo - Drop in to shop for fine art, prints, stickers, and more! Art will be available from tabling artists as well as from our gallery wall. FREE.
Friday 5/30 6:30-11pm: Pretentious Movie Night - Yojimbo. Join us for a screening of Yojimbo(1961), in which in Edo-period Japan, a wandering Samurai drifts into a town that is at the mercy if two waring crime lords, each wanting the Samurai's aid. Doors at 6:30, movie at 7. $5 donation NOTAFLOF.

Third Sundays: Creative Writing Group 1-4pm
Writing group every third Sunday. Quiet work session for writers to work on and share their projects.

RPG One-Shot Social 1-4pm Advance sign-up needed depending on the game and max # of players.
