Spark Ceramics Spark Ceramics specializes in hands-on experiences that are fun and engaging for all levels. Together “the Debs” are hoping to “light your spark”.

Spark is committed to inspire creativity, build community, and make it fun. Please join us in our vibrant studio or around town to create ceramic work that is well crafted and meaningful. Spark Ceramics is a one-of-a-kind ceramic art program for adults and children that combines expert instruction, hands-on workshops and unique environments to create art. Spark is the joint endeavors of Deb Caperton and Deborah Gutof who are San Francisco artists, parents and teachers.

The Hillcrest Healing Project is now a permanent installation at the Hillcrest Elementary for all students, teachers and staff to help feel connected to their community and each other always. Thanks to all who made this possible!
The dedication day was fun and the students got to share their reflections and feelings.

Last Sat. we had fantastic group in for a custom hybrid workshop. The group from WTBR aka Where the Buffalo Roam made buffalo chia pets! Yes! They did it with laughter and panache, literally took them bulls by the horns! The remote crew did em at home with instruction on the screen, we can't wait to unpack these babies when they arrive. And then there was COLOR! It was a pleasure working with Compass Design Team last month. We had an intimate outdoor teambuilding session in our lovely courtyard space. We made some nature inspired objects and played some games to learn cermamic skills.
