Introducing my new series “The Broken Hearts” - I feel like this is one that everybody can probably relate to, in many ways…some good and some bad.

The way this series actually started out was with one of my king canvases that got slightly damaged and I figured “why not paint something on top of it?” At the same time I had been looking at a lot of Roy Liechtenstein works for some inspiration…and on top of that I was actually going through a break up too.

I’m sure everyone has been through a breakup or experienced some kind of heartache with relationships. Sometimes all we can do is be thankful for the experience and the time we had with them and the impact that they made in our life.

Often the art is in the meaning and what it means to you, not necessarily the physical work itself.

My thoughts, prayers and love goes out to the victims and the victim’s families of this tragedy. Who's coming out for the show tomorrow?! Eleven Eleven Winery, in partnership with Arts In April, Trait de Genie Art, The Art of Luck, Ferrari Club of America and Ethnic Notions Fine Art Gallery will host "Voices of The Heart" featuring the aesthetic blending of Fine Art by Jermaine Dante Burse and Grant James.

Artist reception will be on Saturday April 29th 2017 from 6:00- 10:00pm. Ferrari Club of America will display a dazzling array of exotic cars. Appetizers & Wine will be offered for your enhanced enjoyment.

Show recap - I want to thank everyone again for coming out to the show on Wednesday. It was a record breaking turnout with over 1000 people coming through! Thank you everyone for supporting me and purchasing a ticket! I will be shipping your $2 bills out next week and thank you to everyone else that picked up one and the king card at the show. Too much to fit in one pic! Putting together everything that will be at the shop on Wednesday. King cards, $2 jokers, framed uncut $2 joker sheet, new 16x20 pop series paper prints, and joker screen prints! ...well that was exhausting, anyways, I hope to see you there! ...everything's now for sale. I will do a more detailed post shortly for purchasing the bills and cards.
