Stitching up some more Halloween today. There's something so calming & meditative about hand stitching in the mornings, before the house wakes up and starts making noise! Coffee and stitching and peace & quiet.... 😉

Witchy and Willow are done!! Just had to show you how cute they turned out! I'm writing & drawing up the pattern now - it should be ready in a couple days!! Speaking of drawing - I thought you'd like to see the sketch these came from (last photo).

I'll post as soon as the pattern is ready for download!

Staining up a storm today, for a large order! Even though it's water-based, it's still asphyxiating me a little...🤪. It has a weird smell. Waiting for them to dry, so...

Time for a Eurovision break!! Semifinals start today!! 💙

Working on all the New Fall & Winter patterns... keeps me cool in the summertime! But the piles around me on the couch, are getting full! 😂🤣

Getting used to this "semi-retirement" thing... just sewing & painting and reading (in the middle of Project Hail Mary - LOVE it!). I guess it's pretty much the same as non-retirement - haha - but no deadlines! I'm making sure I don't self-impose any, either! Much more fun to be creative when you're not chasing a clock! 😉

Oh, and I'm starting EPP and Sashiko! Got all my hexie templates ready! And I just found a hole in my gauze couch blanket - I'll be making a sashiko patch for it!

Slow living.........it's a good thing!
