Thanks to We The Italians for promoting our Italian community in San Diego!

We resume our trip to the United States: today we are in San Diego, in the southern part of California. One of the most important Italian American personalities in the city is Tom Cesarini.

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

I am grateful for all your deepest thoughts and prayers for Fr. Louis M. Solcia, C.R.S.P., in the past days. I am thankful for the volunteers, especially Cathy, Darlene, Debra, and Crystalina, Fr. Louis's spiritual daughter, for being constantly at his side.

With great sadness today, March 2, 2023, at 3:30 AM, on behalf of Fr. Albino, Dcn. Stephen, and myself, I inform you that Fr. Louis Maria Solcia, C.R.S.P., has crossed the shores of eternity, or as St. Francis said, "it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."

Eternal Rest Grant unto him, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon him.
As soon as the funeral details are finalized, I will inform all of you.

"May God Bless him real good"
Fr. Joseph M. Tabigue, C.R.S.P.
Pastor
