First Sundays Open Studios
Sunday, September 6th
Noon – 4:00 PM
Join us for an afternoon filled with creativity, inspiration, and engaging conversation, featuring at least 15 resident artists who will showcase their work and studios to the public. This always FREE event welcomes everyone. Attendees explore a variety of artistic styles, from traditional to contemporary, while strolling through the diverse studios, where they can chat with the artists, ask questions, and gain insights into their techniques, possibly discovering a new favorite artist or artwork that resonates with them.
Participating Artists are: Federica Armstrong, Rob Bakin, John Barrows, Ellen Brook, Karen Cox, Michael Endicott, Rosine Ferber, Molly Finn, Susan Grabowski, Alan Hart, Yelena Joy-Chen, Linda Manes Goodwin, Neil Murphy, Linda Roth, Teresa Ruzzo, Terry Sand, Amber Smith, Pettina Velez, Greta Waterman, and Inna Zatulovsky
The gallery exhibition in Studio #114 will be the winners of The Best of Plein Air 2026. Reception from 1:00-2:30pm.

FREE Plein Air demonstration, led by artist, John Barrows, SWA
FREE art activity booth for kids, led by artist, Pettina Velez, and generously sponsored by Dragonfly Community Arts.
FREE collaborative art activity: Blossoms Meet, celebrating the sister-city friendship between San Carlos and Omura, Nagasaki, Japan. This activity is for ages 11+ (ages 8-10 may participate with a parent/adult assisting), led by artist Yucali Seki and participants in our Youth Mentorship Program.

Kitchen Table Travel Co will be back again, offering thoughtfully curated cheese plates and other goodies!
Lily’s Natural Soaps & Essentials will have a lovely array of soaps, lotions, perfumes, diffusers, and candles to delight your senses!
