Paper Trail SA Paper Trail is a Two Day Event open to San Antonio makers and creators of printed goods.

Paper Trail SA is an Annual Event that began in 2015 and is dedicated to contemporary works of art and design on paper. Our continued goal is to provide a one-of-a-kind experience aimed at connecting artists to collectors in a forum that celebrates the artistic process and the culture of design and printmaking. This art fair and exhibition is truly the first of its kind in San Antonio and has been

unique addition to the local art scene. The One-Day Event on July 18th at The Rock Box will host over 40+ Artists and Vendors working in a variety of artistic styles, from High Brow to Low Brow. The Art Market will feature affordable artwork and paper goods including hand-lettered typography, relief prints, lithographs, etchings, digital prints, stickers, zines and screen prints.

Paper Trail is a one-day event dedicated to all things print, from risographs and screen prints to zines, comics, stickers, art prints, and more. Come support independent artists, discover small press treasures, and bask in the glory of paper-based creations, all inside one of San Antonio’s most iconic live music venues, The Rock Box.

🎨 This year’s official poster was created by the talented duo *Bestu Friendo*. Their collaborative art project blends bold illustration, pop culture, and printmaking, fueled by friendship, fun, and the belief that nothing is off the creative table. We couldn’t be more excited to have their work representing Paper Trail 2026.

Christopher Payne, illustrator, designer, and printmaker behind Salted Teeth, has been quietly (and loudly) shaping the underground art scene since the early 2000s. From founding the DIY-heavy Folktale Records to co-launching Fine Print Press, Christopher’s creative journey runs deep in music, print, and independent publishing.

His work drips with texture, narrative, and a DIY ethos born from years of hand-packaged releases and gritty print culture.

At Paper Trail 2025, Salted Teeth is bringing prints, original drawings, zines, cards, stickers, pins, patches, and all manner of darkly detailed goods.
