Fort Sam Houston Museum The Museum and Quadrangle tells the story of Fort Sam Houston from 1845 to the present.

Artifacts, images, and stories share events and people that transformed a small post into one of the nation’s largest military installations. The Fort Sam Houston Museum preserves and exhibits the history of Fort Sam Houston and the Army in this region. This includes the development of the installation, the activities of tenant units and organizations, the service of soldiers stationed here, and major events that occurred here which affected the Army and the Nation.
