Following recruitment the Alta Club was founded in 1883 by eighty-one charter members, thirteen years before Utah became a state.

Autumn Gin & Tonic — Gin, apple cider, tonic, and lemon, garnished with cinnamon, cloves, and star anise.

Apple Cider Spritz (mocktail) — Sparkling cider, lemon juice, and cinnamon syrup, topped with ginger ale or ginger beer, garnished with a cinnamon stick and star anise.
