Good Monday morning,
August 31st 2026

So last week was a little rough for Sheryl as the medicene they were changing wasn't helping in any way. So they are changing again, and we are reducing one medicene and adding a new medicene. It has been a rough start, but seems a little better today. She slept thru the night last night. So prayers that things continue.

So the shop next week will be open
Friday 12 noon to 4pm
And
Saturday 12 noon to 3pm
I am hoping this week goes well and I do not need to change anything.
I plan to have a couple tables out on Saturday
Featuring some $2.50 cars, regular treasure hunts and zamacs, and maybe some other cars. I also have a few mystery Boxes left with 20 cars for $15. Included is 1-reg TH, 1-zamac and a 4 car series set, plus 14 others.

The picture today is where I am currently at on my Super Treasure Hunts for 2026. If you have any you want to trade, I have some supers to trade, a few 2025's available also.

So I am a day late posting my update, so here we go.
So Sheryl is doing fairly well overall, but it seems that afternoon and early evenings is where she is most active and anxiety seems take over. I think it is a combination of being tired and being confused. So we are trying to allow the new medication work. It's been a little over a week since we stopped the other medication. So thanks for the prayers.

So this week at the shop,
we will only be open on
Thursday from 12noon to 4pm. Changed to thursday
Still working on getting some Saturdays opened up. Keep watching.

The pictures attached are of some Beanie Babies that we have at home, just a few.

I also wanted to remind everyone that if you buy basic Hot Wheels at Walmart, to save your receipt and bring it in to me, i will give .25 cents per car you buy for the receipt. Also, 5pks work as well for $1 back for the receipt. So shop walmart and come see me.

Good Monday morning

So last week was the of tapering off a couple previous medications and so this week we are on the new medication only. It was a rough week, so hopefully this week smoothes out and Sheryl will at least feel a little better. It is very hard to watch her crying from just being touched, no matter how gentle you are. The two dr appointments last week went good. Both telemed, one salina and the other ku in kc. So a few things mentioned and we will be following up on them. So pray for sheryl to have a good week.

So the shop this week will be open on Wednesday August 19th noon to 3pm.
We may have another day but waiting to hear from sheryls sister when she may be available. So watch for up dates.

So the photo is a reminder of the card trade-in program we have. One loose cars for every 5 cards. No limit. Now i want to do another short program for the next 3 weeks. This is for Walmart receipts only. I will pay .25 cents for every basic Hot wheel on the your receipt that you turn in. Up to $10 per person. Also $1 for every 5pack up to the combined total of $10 cash back. Receipts must be dated August 16th, 2026 and newer, nothing before. If you need clarification, please message me. Good Monday morning

So as I start this week, I think that things are slow to change and bring new understanding in patience. Last week went fairly well with sheryl, still working on medication change which is going as planned, not quite the results I was hoping for. We do have 2 Dr visits this week and both are telemed. So we have a little over a week to finish the change and we will go from there. Thanks for you continued Prayers.

This week I plan to be open only on
Thursday August 13th 12noon to 3pm.

I am still pursuing options for opening on Saturday every other week, but details not quite set yet.

The pictures below are a couple of very interesting sets of Hot Wheels in our collection.

1. The Mattel Creations release for Mattel's 80th anniversary is the Hot Wheels Original 16 Rally Case Set, launched on August 26, 2025, Limited to 4,120 numbered units, the set features all 16 original 1968 "Sweet 16" castings finished in signature Ruby Red Spectraflame paint inside a tire-shaped red display case.

2. Mattel Creations introduces a new addition to the Hot Wheels collection in collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham.
The collaboration will consist of eight reimagined Hot Wheels 1:64-scale vehicles to be released across four drops.
This Hot Wheels collaboration includes eight die-cast and silkstone models transformed into eroded artifacts. The first lap of the Daniel Arsham collection.

3. The Hot Wheels x Ferrari Heritage Set is a special-edition Red Line Club (RLC) 2-pack released on April 7, 2025, It marks the official return of the Ferrari license to Hot Wheels after an 11-year hiatus, featuring 1:64 scale diecast models of the 1969 Ferrari 312P and the modern Ferrari 499P Modificata.

Good Monday afternoon

So last week was a not so good week for Sheryl. The medicine change has been going good, just not smoothly. Checking with the Dr's. We got confirmation that is how the will affect her. And it should get better. So we shall see. Week 3 begins.

So as a few found out I was unable to get 1 day but was open on friday. This week I will only be open
Thursday August 6th
from 12noon to 4pm
Still working on a Saturday openings, keep watching.

Good Sunday evening
July 26th 2026

So this last week ended up pretty fair, Sheryl did pretty well, struggling with the medication change as one increased and another decreased. They warned it may be a little stressful. It was and i am sure the next 2 1/2 weeks will be the same. So prayers are appreciated.

Had a couple good days at the shop this week, a few visitors, sold a few things. If you were able to come in, Thank you. I enjoyed seeing you all.
Next week we will be open.

Good Sunday Evening
July 19th, 2026

So this week was a pretty good week, We are doing a medication change for Sheryl and so far she is doing fairly well with it. Seems a little more tired, but ok so far. This change should take about 3 weeks to ramp one down and ramp the other one up. So prayers she continues to do good.

So we made it to the toy show Saturday and looked around for a bit. Bought a couple items to take home, and seen a few people we knew. Looked like the 4H building was pretty full and had plenty to see. Would of like to stay longer, but it just wasn't happening.

So this week i plan to be at the shop

Friday July 24th 11am to 4pm
With the KKOA car show being in town, i am going to try for a little more time. Unfortunately I haven't figure Saturdays out yet. Would like to do every other weekend. So we will see.

Reminder to save your card backs from the basic Hot Wheels. They are good for trading for loose Hot wheels that I have available. Usually 1 car per 5 cards.
Also have a few mystery Boxes available $15 ea. A little hint. Each box has 20 cars, of those 20 cars there is, 1 reg TH, 1 Zamac, a series of 4 cars and 14 other diecast cars. So stop by and pick a box.
