🌟Introducing our third featured artist of June, illustrator Zoe Rayor!🌟

“Art and design have always been passions of mine. For almost a decade I’ve been living on the road, rock climbing, and working as an artist. My surroundings have a deep impact on me, and the incredible landscapes 1 exist in drive my curiosity and creativity.

Pen and ink are my favorite tools, and I’ve recently started incorporating a tablet; the artwork is about half digital and half pen and ink. I love sculpted linework, vivid colors, dreamy deserts, mountainscapes, and rocks! I also enjoy living and working in community and striving toward a better future together for all of us.”

Pop into the gallery to get up close and personal with Zoe’s collection to appreciate all of her fine detailing. Lots of new originals are available!

🌟Introducing our second featured artist of June, glass blower Barry Stevens of Barry Stevens! 🌟

After apprenticing in the Chicago area, Barry Stevens, an award-winning and exhibiting glass artist, has honed his craft since 2008. Specializing in lampworking with borosilicate glass, Barry draws much of his inspiration from nature and his enthusiasm for budo martial arts.

Barry’s studio is located in Buena Vista and is large enough to accommodate classes and groups, offering local glass artists the opportunity to rent studio time. For more information, you can contact him through his website, vulcanglassart.com.

Arts Collective Salida displays a wide range of Barry’s work, including jewelry, decorative marbles, votives, glassware, and much more!

🌟Introducing our first featured artist of June, ceramicist Susy Ritch ()!🌟

Susy grew up in the New York City area, and never felt like she could get enough of nature and creatures. Animals have always been a love of hers. Susy’s current body of work reflects her love of nature and surface design in the clay work. Through sgraffito, image transfer, and sculpture, she celebrates the natural living world!
