Southern Illinois Antique Power Club

Southern Illinois Antique Power Club In 1989 a few people in Southern IL. decided to start a club dedicated to the preservation of antique farm tractors, equipment, and stationary engines.

It was decided to have a show to display and operate them so the younger generation could see and not lose the history of the vanishing old farming ways. A date was set, the first weekend after Labor Day every year. The show always falls just between the end of the fairs, and the start of harvest in the Southern Illinois area. Soon it grew into one of the largest tractor shows in the area. It has

been over 30 years and we are still going strong. We have a museum building on the Marion County Fair Grounds that we are constantly working to improve. One day it will house many items from the past that portray history in the farming way of life.

The auction crew is asking for help loading items Sunday. Will meet at noon at the fairgrounds and then go to the location. anyone that could loan a box trailer or trailer with sides to use for storage until auction week would be appreciated!
