This is a copy of a Zurburan painting which I made nearly thirty years ago. I have finally made a frame that fits it. The frame is carved and gilded in 23K gold. The unfortunate monk is St. Serapion.

Raymond Saunders is an artist in Oakland, California. In 1974, I was fortunate to have taken a class in Art history from him at City College in San Francisco. He is the most knowledgeable (and graceful) man I have ever known.

Art for Art has completed our move to a larger production facility. We are able to provide a wide range of abilities to solve almost any difficulty in the conservation of artwork.
The frame shown was our last completed project at the old workshop. It was ordered by Will Watkins for keepsakes from his mother which he wished to preserve.
