✨ Step into a world of frosting-inspired fantasy.

"Yvette Mayorga: Goddesses of the Great Hall" transforms the MFA's historic entrance into a vibrant, immersive installation where contemporary art meets art history. Inspired by Élisabeth Vigée-LeBrun's "Julie as Flora, Roman Goddess of Flowers," Mayorga reimagines the grandeur of 18th-century portraiture through her signature maximalist style—exploring identity, femininity, cultural memory, and power with dazzling color and intricate detail.

As the inaugural exhibition of The Great Hall Project, this captivating installation invites you to experience one of the museum's most iconic spaces in an entirely new way.
