Here is another #QuarantineRailroad! This is from Joey - his mom says he often changes up the layout of the wooden track, but the Polar Express is often surrounding it. He also drew the picture in the background and Hope's you all like it. Joey loves seeing everyone else's train setups and hopes to get back to the train museum soon!

We can't wait to have you back! The museum is so quiet!

If you can spare some change to help keep us afloat during the closure we have a PayPal "Donate" button on the bottom of our screen at tcmrm.org - we are perusing any state and federal business support options as well and hope that those can offer help. Our landlord has also been very accommodating. Thank you Roseville Properties!

We do continue to have a cleaner helping us maintain the facility and our leadership pops in and out to check on mail, pay bills (gulp), and some other small tasks.

We hope that our closure till April 17th is long enough but we know the safety of our community is the most important thing right now.

03-13-2020 - Twin City Model Railroad Museum updates regarding COVID-19

Twin City Model Railroad Museum updates regarding COVID-19.

Museum Closed March 14 through March 27

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will be closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to contribute to the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and the local community. This decision was made in accordance with recommendations and guidance from state and local public health officials and the Governor's Emergency Executive Order.

In addition, the Smithsonian has cancelled their national Free Museum Day originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4. The event will be rescheduled at a later date.

Our spring hobby show and sale is still planned for May 16 at the State Fairgrounds.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation and update our website and social media channels with the latest museum news and information regarding changes to these dates.

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will be closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to contribute to the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and the local community.

I bet their are a lot of us working on our railroads no matter the scale. I've been at it every day till one day I just had to take a little break but it seems around my place, something is always happening these days! I've been making videos to help raise spirits, something we all need a little of. Thought I would share this one. Have a great day!
Thank you, all our loyal visitors. We hoope to improve communication and connection on this site during this stressful time. Take Care! Oscar, President TCMRM
Todd Hein I'm not done yet I have a few others. Here is another one from my channel.
I will be posting a few videos that I made at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, These are from my Epic Marx Trains Videos YouTube channel. Here is the first one.
I attended this with my grandson on Saturday night! The display is such fun for people of all ages! Visually mesmerizing. This was our second year to visit and we already made a date to come back next year!
Travel back in time to around this same time 30 years ago. This video shows you an example of what the old Bandana Square location looked like in early 1989.
The Great River Valley System group is looking forward to having our T Trak setup in the conference room this weekend! February 19 and 20!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLObcvyVKWo&t=3s this i video i did when i was at "Night Trains" last saturday. I just thought i would share it with you. Hope you enjoy! thanks for watching! Brent Thibault
Awesome museum! I usually visit 2-3 times a year, and the "Night Trains" is a required visit around the Christmas holidays. Enjoy looking for the small details, like the "Grumpy Old Men" house and watching the kids play with the hands-on layouts. While I'm not active in model RR, I enjoy the trip back to childhood memories.
Do you know what weekend the Circus Train will run this year?
a must see
