Here is another #QuarantineRailroad! This is from Joey - his mom says he often changes up the layout of the wooden track, but the Polar Express is often surrounding it. He also drew the picture in the background and Hope's you all like it. Joey loves seeing everyone else's train setups and hopes to get back to the train museum soon!

We can't wait to have you back! The museum is so quiet!

If you can spare some change to help keep us afloat during the closure we have a PayPal "Donate" button on the bottom of our screen at tcmrm.org - we are perusing any state and federal business support options as well and hope that those can offer help. Our landlord has also been very accommodating. Thank you Roseville Properties!

We do continue to have a cleaner helping us maintain the facility and our leadership pops in and out to check on mail, pay bills (gulp), and some other small tasks.

We hope that our closure till April 17th is long enough but we know the safety of our community is the most important thing right now.

Twin City Model Railroad Museum updates regarding COVID-19.

Museum Closed March 14 through March 27

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will be closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to contribute to the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and the local community. This decision was made in accordance with recommendations and guidance from state and local public health officials and the Governor's Emergency Executive Order.

In addition, the Smithsonian has cancelled their national Free Museum Day originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4. The event will be rescheduled at a later date.

Our spring hobby show and sale is still planned for May 16 at the State Fairgrounds.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation and update our website and social media channels with the latest museum news and information regarding changes to these dates.

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum will be closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to contribute to the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers and the local community.

Pelham

The Twin City Model Railroad Museum was so honored to host Pelham's latest music video! Please enjoy this touching song!

My grandfather built a giant train set in his basement. When I was younger, we would go to his house and spend hours down there playing with the trains. He even let me help him build a part of the scenery. It was just a small rock I painted, and I'm sure he touched it up, but I got to help! These are some of the best memories I have of spending time with him before he passed.

Working with the Twin City Model Railroad Museum on a video dedicated to his memory was huge for me. I am so greatful to them for letting me come in on a day they were closed to film this video.

This month I reached out to the organization Still Kickin because one of their main messages is that if you're going through a difficult time in your life, you're not alone. Their message lines up perfectly with what I was trying to capture in "The Lucky Ones". So take a listen, and know that you are not alone.

Special shout out to Angela for helping film and edit this video!

Pint sized trains and pint sized beers. Did you know there are 8 breweries within 2 miles of our location? Bang Brewing BlackStack Brewing Burning Brothers Brewing Dual Citizen Brewing Lake Monster Brewing The Lab - Pilot Facility & Taproom and Urban Growler Brewing Company are all really close and just a bit further to Surly Brewing Company!

Wow, check out this epic review from Google:

"Why is it that the world we live in every day is made so much more delightful in miniature? Is it the birds-eye view? Do we like to play God? Is it impressive to see the time and attention people pay to lovingly recreate a place, a time period, or a scene? All of the above, yes. Great place for kids 2+ who can keep their hands to themselves (for the most part) but gobs of hands-on toys and buttons throughout the exhibits. Fantastic!"

Todd Hein I'm not done yet I have a few others. Here is another one from my channel.
I will be posting a few videos that I made at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, These are from my Epic Marx Trains Videos YouTube channel. Here is the first one.
I attended this with my grandson on Saturday night! The display is such fun for people of all ages! Visually mesmerizing. This was our second year to visit and we already made a date to come back next year!
Travel back in time to around this same time 30 years ago. This video shows you an example of what the old Bandana Square location looked like in early 1989.
The Great River Valley System group is looking forward to having our T Trak setup in the conference room this weekend! February 19 and 20!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLObcvyVKWo&t=3s this i video i did when i was at "Night Trains" last saturday. I just thought i would share it with you. Hope you enjoy! thanks for watching! Brent Thibault
Awesome museum! I usually visit 2-3 times a year, and the "Night Trains" is a required visit around the Christmas holidays. Enjoy looking for the small details, like the "Grumpy Old Men" house and watching the kids play with the hands-on layouts. While I'm not active in model RR, I enjoy the trip back to childhood memories.
Do you know what weekend the Circus Train will run this year?
a must see
A Big THANKS to everyone who participated in Give to the Max Day!
