The Village Faire is almost here!

Join us Saturday, September 19 from 11–3 for an afternoon of old-fashioned fun at Newell Pioneer Village. We've once again teamed up with our friends at Champoeg State Heritage Area!

Historic buildings, hands-on activities, games, demonstrations, music and plenty of fun for the whole family.

We have three fun movie facts for Jurassic Park 🦖🦕
Come watch the movie magic with us on August 1st!! Doors open at 7:30pm and the movie will start at 9.

Now for the facts:
1. There are approximately 15 minutes of dinosaur footage in the entire movie

2. The T-Rex was so large, the building it was housed in had to be altered

3. A team of people had to dry off the T-Rex with towels, hair dryers every day

🇺🇸 Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate America's 250th with us at Newell Pioneer Village!

From the patriotic program and delicious food to the pie auction and time spent together as a community, you helped make it a wonderful day to remember. We are so grateful to our volunteers, participants, sponsors, and every single person who came out to celebrate our nation's history with us.
