For more than four decades, our community has gathered on Harriet Island to celebrate Irish music, culture, and craic together. Today we’re excited to share the next chapter of that tradition.

The Irish Fair of Minnesota is becoming the Twin Cities Irish Fest!

Why the change? Our new name reflects the vibrant, growing Irish community across both Minneapolis and Saint Paul while honoring the festival you’ve loved for generations. You’ll still find the same incredible music, dance, culture, food, and family fun along the Mississippi River — just with a name that better captures the energy of the entire Twin Cities. Thanks to Anne Murphy and My Villager for this article about my Irish of Minnesota Exhibit at the Landmark Center! There is still time to check out the show as it will be on display through March 20th durning normal business hours in the North Gallery.

Also, Irish Arts Minnesota presents the 44th Annual St. Patrick's Day Irish Celebration at the Landmark Center on Tuesday, March 17th from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. And, do not miss the huge St. Patrick's Association's 60th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown St. Paul on 5th Street staring at 12:00 p.m.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended my Irish of Minnesota Opening Reception at the Landmark Center North Gallery last Friday night! It was a magical, mystical evening and wonderful to see and visit with so many friends, patrons and participants in this exhibit! Special thanks to Jan Casey of Irish Arts MN, Irish Fair of Minnesota, Holly and Emma at the Landmark Center, musician Hannah Flowers, speaker Jim Rogers and Colleen McGuire, my Irish American lassie! The exhibit will be on display during normal Landmark Center hours now through March 20th.

The Irish of Minnesota exhibit installation has commenced in the North Gallery at the Landmark Center! A couple of new updates: there will be food and drink refreshments, music by Hannah Flowers and a special guest speaker. So looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it to the Opening Night Ceremony this Friday, January 16th from 5 - 7 p.m! The exhibit runs until March 20th during normal Landmark Center hours.

Three new portraits posted to the Irish of Minnesota Exhibit in celebration of The Bloomsday Festival taking place on June 16th at The Dubliner from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Special thanks to Mark, Martin, Michelle and Adrienne for being a part of this ever-expanding exhibit celebrating the Irish of Minnesota. We are looking forward to celebrating all things Irish this weekend and on Saint Patrick's Day on Monday! Hoping to see you tonight at Hurley's Hooley (6:00-10:00) at CHS Field, tomorrow for Paddy Wagon at Mancini's (starting at 5:00) or somewhere in Saint Paul on Monday for the parade (at Noon) and Irish craic all day!

In the meantime, there are two new portraits to check out in the ever-expanding Irish of Minnesota gallery of Saint Paul's own Randy Conaway and Mike Faricy!
