In observance of our country's 250 years of independence, we present "Yarns of Yesterday", a collection of interesting stories found in print and also passed down as oral history. Many times the story has changed over the years as it is retold, so please comment or email us with corrections. Do you have a favorite story or memory you'd like to share?

What a great way to capture Old Fashioned Day! Holly McKellop spent the entire afternoon with us at the museum and never stopped shooting photographs. Check out her work at HMPhotography!

Want to learn about local military history? Come out to the museum when it's open. You can check out this sobering picture display of the local service members who were killed in action in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. St. Paris will always honor and remember it's fallen heroes!!!

We have extended the viewing of our display "Remember the Flood of 1995" for another week! Come see newspaper clippings and aerial photos of the devastation created by a record hundred-year storm. This was initiated by Hurricane Erin in August 1995, which coincidentally, there is an Erin in the news right now. The museum is open Sunday, August 24th from 1pm until 4pm. See you there!
