Join us at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum on Saturday, October 31, at 11:00 A.M. or 1:00 P.M. for a stroll filled with spooky stories, local legends, and a chance to share a few tales of your own!

Here at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum, we’re passionate about supporting Maryland’s naturally occurring plant communities through the use of native plants. Our Visitor Center gardens feature 100% native plants, and we’ve adopted a xeriscaping approach to care that relies on natural rainfall rather than supplemental watering. 💧🌼

Looking to incorporate more native plants into your own garden? The University of Maryland has released a brand-new Native Plant Guide specifically for Maryland’s Coastal Plain, the low-lying region surrounding the Chesapeake Bay!

This course is going to be fun!!

Happy Neon Nights Race Week to all who celebrate! (If you haven't registered, there are still a few spots left!).

Below is the Race Course for Saturday's 4th Annual Neon Nights 5k. This is a course we haven't run before as we finally are including a trip to the Smith-St. Leonard archaeological site right at Mile 1.

Attention to ALL VISITORS of JPPM - Starting at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st, the site will be closed south of the dry dam to ALL VEHICLES. The site remains open to all pedestrians for normal visitation. You will be asked to follow parking attendants instructions on where to park.
