Clinton County Historical Museum, Paine-Gillam-Scott House The Clinton County Historical Museum campus contains the Paine-Gillam-Scott House, the oldest brick residence in St.

Johns, the Swegles General Store and the Carriage House. The Museum is now open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 2 - 5 PM. The Clinton County Historical Museum museum in St. Johns MI is a non-profit museum which includes three structures: the main house, general store/dentist office, and carriage house. We offer public tours on Sundays from 1pm-4pm and Wednesdays from 2pm-7pm. Private

tours can be scheduled by contacting the museum. All of our workers are volunteers, and always look forward to showing the public around the grounds.

The Clinton County Historical Society Museum is joining in on the St Johns Mint Festival Weekend activities!

Friday, August 7th from 2 - 5 PM stop by the Museum campus for a yard sale of epic proportions including hundreds of vintage salt & pepper shaker sets; lots of collectable porcelain dolls; lots of antique items and many free giveaways! Sale prices are all donation based so folks are giving back to the Museum!

Saturday, August 8th, we will be open from 10 - 2 PM for tours...come enjoy the parade, the Farmer's Market and stop by the Museum. Check out our newest Railroad/Interurban exhibit

Sunday, August 9th we will be open from 10 - 1 PM for tours!

Our America250 celebration is this Thursday, July 23rd from 5 - 8 PM on the Museum campus at 106 Maple Ave. St Johns, MI.
It looks to be a lovely day and even better evening so plan to bring the kids and enjoy free music, free birthday cake, free face painting, free arts and crafts for the kids and the Good Times Griddle food truck.
