Our first home school art lab is in the books!
We worked on color wheels and self portraits today.

Wednesday classes are full, but we still have space in our Thursday classes!

Since our first week of Nature Studio is on the first week of September, we'll be paying homage to the sunflower - the classic summer to fall transition flower! 🌼

Our older kids will be creating mixed media sunflowers inspired by Van Gogh, with paint, collage and even clay. 🌻

Younger kids will cut, paste, paint and color their own sunflower and crow masterpieces.🌼🌼🌞🌞

The art room is starting to take shape!

We're excited to announce our newest homeschool class, NATURE STUDIO!

🍁This class is a mixed media class inspired by nature, with a smattering of science tossed in!

🪺We'll be working with clay, watercolor, markers, ink, yarn, and tempera paint, as well as sticks, twigs, pebbles, stones, flowers leaves and more.

🍄We're currently offering a class for ages 5-7, and a class for ages 8-11.

🐿️ Remember, the more students we have, the easier it is for us to run our classes at a rate that we hope is affordable for our homeschoolers.

As I begin to stock the studio, I'm in need of jars, cans, baskets etc. You know, the stuff you use to hold stuff.
If you have anything of that type that you're looking to find a home for, the studio would make a lovely spot for it!
