Art Around the Corner

The Art Around the Corner Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts, enriching the community, and bringing fine arts to the heart of historic St. The foundation’s flagship project is the Art Around the Corner Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit, a collection of sculptures from nationally renown artists. Many of the sculptures are for sale, with new exhibitions installed annually. Others have been purchased from the artists and remain part of an ongoing exhibit of St. George City’s permanent collection. Formerly know as the Dixie Arts Foundation and the Pioneer Center for the Arts Foundation, the Art Around the Corner Foundation was originally formed in 1988.

Stories can be told without words.

Totem Pole draws inspiration from the symbolic traditions of Indigenous totem carving, using stacked forms to reflect ideas of heritage, identity, gratitude, and connection to place.

Rather than copying traditional carvings, the sculpture pays tribute to the enduring importance of storytelling through art.

What details stand out to you as you explore the sculpture?

Curiosity has the power to shape a lifetime.

The World Is Mine features two children sitting back-to-back on a globe, completely absorbed in learning and discovery. The sculpture celebrates imagination, education, and the endless opportunities that come from asking questions.

It's a reminder that every great journey begins with curiosity.

On September 11, we pause to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Today, Freedom by Deveren offers a fitting place for reflection—a reminder that freedom carries meaning, sacrifice, and responsibility, and that even in moments of profound loss, communities can stand together.

May we remember not only what happened that day, but also the compassion, bravery, and unity that followed.

Never forget.

Few plants are more recognizable than the saguaro cactus—but this one has a surprise.

Large Saguaro celebrates the landscapes of the Southwest while rewarding careful observation. Look closely and you'll discover a small covey of quail tucked within the cactus, adding an unexpected moment of discovery.

It's a sculpture that encourages visitors to slow down and take a closer look.
Did you spot the hidden quail the first time you saw it?
