Enter today!

The Dada movement, known for its unconventional and often absurd approach to art, paved the way for the surrealist movement and influenced many artists to push the boundaries of traditional art making. With the constant evolution of technology, the rise of social media, duct taped bananas and AI intelligence, the art world is sure to see even more avant garde innovation in the future. We love it! We want it! Bring us your unconventional, atypical, bizarre, eccentric, idiosyncratic, individualistic, offbeat, unique, unorthodox and unusual work.

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to enter this unique art show and be a part of the next movement in the art world.

Mission: Unifying Chicago and the surrounding cities through a common exhibition theme in order to bring arts organizations together, to build on our connections and community.

This exhibition is created in cohesion with The Art Center Highland Park, Chicago Women’s Caucus for Art and Stola Contemporary Art.

We are pleased to announce our new open call for: Environment.
Please read the description below and submit today! We look forward to seeing your work!

Environment Group Exhibition

Our environment has a dramatic impact on our lives whether it be the planet, the place you call home or the office you go to every day. There is also the temporary environment that becomes your new normal, a hospital bed that you’re so sick of you name it “Out” or the refuge you’re so grateful for.

Our environment is imbedded in our minds during life changing moments. We all remember where we were the first time they said, “I love you”, the pregnancy test was positive or hearing of the death of a loved one.

There is another environment, the one we create in our minds. Some are full of turmoil amongst a seemingly pleasant existence, and some are the beauty we create within us to escape the cruel outside. What is your Environment? This exhibition is about your space, a window. We want to bring your environment into ours.

Rhythm, Color & Movement: Seeing the Music

Wassily Kandinsky, a pioneer of abstract art, said "music is the ultimate teacher". Stuart Davis said jazz was one of the things that made him want to paint, and he credited jazz with influencing the development of his vibrant style. Jackson Pollock's action painting technique reflected the improvisation, freedom, and rhythm of the jazz music he loved. Show us your musicians, your singers, your smoky blues clubs, your abstract, anything that lets you see the music!
