Sacred City Art Sacred City Art Collective is a Sacramento-based studio providing a collaborative space for artists to explore the transformative practice of creation.

Sacred City Collective’s paramount belief is in the transformative and therapeutic act of creation. As we move into an age of increased communication through technology, Sacred City seeks to provide a physical community space for Creatives in which to commune and be inspired by one another’s dedication to personal fulfillment through art. Sacred City Collective will provide, in addition to open an

d private space for art making, a variety of equipment needed to make certain types art. As an example, printing presses and ventilation. The equipment provided will support work in a variety of mediums including but not limited to- All mediums of painting, drawing, printmaking, collage and assemblage, paper arts, textile arts and jewelry. Sacred City also believes in the spirit of fun and adventure. By providing a variety of unique and exciting classes to members and the outside community, Sacred City strives to empower all people to explore their creativity. Sacred City also feels strongly in giving back to the community that supports it. Regular events open to the public will be planned, including movie craft nights, kid’s days and maker’s fairs. We have a strong and true vision for this space of co-creation and hope to find people who are interested in creating this awesome space with us! We have yet to find our conveniently located studio but ideally it will be large enough to have a classroom, gallery, large open art lab space, and dedicated spaces for those that desire. The studio is based on the model for co working spaces with different levels of membership from drop in rates to dedicated studio space rental.
