It’s the first Saturday of October, and Sacramento is still hanging onto the summer heat. Luckily, the gallery is cool and ‘Five Lives in One’, Permanent Mark’s solo exhibition, continues to be on view at Timeless Thrills.
We’re here today until 6 PM, and there are still some incredible works available to acquire. More importantly, this is a show that really needs to be experienced in person. Between the scale, texture, detail, and range of the work, there’s a lot that simply doesn’t translate through that little screen in your hand.
We’re also excited to announce that Permanent Mark will be back in Sacramento on Saturday, October 17 at 3 PM for an artist talk on the final day of the exhibition. We’ll sit down with Mark and get into a little bit of everything—his childhood, travels, decades in tattooing, the different mediums he’s worked through, the stories behind the work, and where he finds himself today. It’ll be a great way to meet Mark, hear directly from him, spend some final time with the exhibition, and maybe even take home one of the remaining works before we close the doors on ‘Five Lives in One’.
Timeless Thrills is open Thursday–Saturday, 12–6 PM.
