The home they lived in at 203 W. Stevens Avenue was built circa 1890 and it has a history of housing 4 Rushford Postmasters with the last two being Walter N. Parish and Rees Johnson himself.

Here’s a few nice articles from 2004, 2005 and 2010 about Rushford’s legendary Football Coach 🏈, Coach Jim Reinhardt.

Coach Reinhardt began coaching the varsity team in 1985 and compiled a 198-68 win loss record for a .744 winning percentage during his 24 seasons coaching at Rushford-Peterson. He won 3 State Championships in 2002, 2004 & 2006.

His team finished 2nd in the State tournament in 1988. He captured 9 section championships and won 12 conference championships.

In 2006 Jim was named Coach of the Year for the State of Minnesota.

Jim taught Math for 36 years at Rushford-Peterson High School.
