We had a painting that was brought in which was in very bad shape. I thought it resembled a George Inness landscape, then noticed the name tag. It was passed onto Lisa Mehlin @ Mehlin Conservation for painting restoration and the frame went to Mike Waters @ Waters Gilding. They did a fantastic job bringing it back to life. The word is still out whether it’s a true Inness. It has yet to be evaluated though the owner is very happy regardless.
