On Wednesday, Seot 23, 2026 Tempest Technology came and spent a day filming at the museum. The morning featured interviews and was centered in the Dino Dept. One special moment was Sue Olson from Signal Peak Fdt presentIng a plaque to the museum. Not only has Signal Peak supported the creation of the Dino Dept, but they purchased the recent specimen for our collection, the pterosaur.
Also on display was our newest exhibit Montana Ricks!. This display has samples of various rock specimens found in the state.

Labor Day weekend. This month the museum is highlighting the industry in the area.
The buggy room depicts ranching.
Pictures about mines has been added plus a pages listing miners who have lost their lives is in the mining area.
Women even would occasionally work in the mines during WWI and WWII.
Two brick factories wee in Musselshell and Roundup in the early 1900s.
Stop by and view our industrial heritage.
Open 1 to 5 pm every day until end of September.

The Musselshell Valley Historical Museum is open on Labor Day, Monday, September 7 from 1 - 5. Come to the museum and learn a bit about local history. Enjoy our history and our dinosaurs. All are welcome. We have a dinosaur game for the kids or for more experienced people who want to play the game also.

Great news a the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum today. Janet and Dale were the greeters today.
We had our first people complete their Dinosaur Trail Passports in Roundup. They were very excited. They were from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We had visitors today from Minnesota; Idaho; South Dakota; Washington, D.C; and Billings, MT.

Exciting news for our museum. Thank you to all of our volunteers.

Thank you all for coming to the annual ice cream social. The kids enjoyed chalking the sidewalks and it was nice to see people mingle.
