Check out this great collaboration of youth teams here in Rome⬇️⬇️
The RFA hockey team surprised the Rome Grizzlies mites today and played a fun game. The mites knew that they were playing a new team but did not know that it was the RFA Hockey team. Way to be awesome role models RFA Hockey! You just made a memory for the young mites players that they will remember forever. This is what youth sports and community are all about! Kudos to all of the coaches involved that helped make this happen.🏒

The RFA boys basketball team loss 61-58 in the Section 3 semifinal last night. We want to congratulate this team on a great season. Be on the lookout for this strong team next year as they are only losing 3 seniors this year. We can’t wait to see all of their continued success!🏀

A back-and-forth Section III Class AAA boys basketball semifinal ended with two seed Cicero-North Syracuse avenging one of its two regular-season losses by knocking off three seed Rome Free Academy 61-58 on Wednesday.

We would like to acknowledge the great season RFA Hockey had this season. This year’s team reached the Section 3 finals for the first time in 10 years. They played strong throughout the entire game tonight but unfortunately they had a tough 2-1 loss in OT. RFA’s goal was scored by Junior, Tyler Lokker. Goaltender Donte Sparace and his defense held strong throughout the 51 shots they faced tonight. We wish all of the seniors the best of luck in the future, and we can’t wait to see the underclassman’s continued success next season. 🏒
