We found an old fishing lure in the woods in the middle of nowhere.

An old hatchet that was found in the original riverbed of the Holston River in Hawkins County. It was found in a very swampy area. We were amazed that it still has some of the wood handle. We assume that due to the lack of oxygen, there was still a part of the wooden handle and little rust pitting on the steel.

This has never happened before to us. 3 different Civil War bullets under the same tree in the same hole. We’re thinking someone sat under the tree while making bullets and dropped these.
