Frederick, MD — TAG/The Artists Gallery invites artists living in Maryland, Virginia, DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware to share their unique vision in the juried exhibition, “BEING SEEN.” Artwork will be shown in gallery and posted online.
Juror, Matt Klos, an artist, educator, and the co-owner of Baltimore’s Exeter Gallery will select five works that will earn prizes of $500/First Place, $250/Second, $125/Third and three Honorable Mentions of $50 each.

In celebration of TAG/The Artists Gallery, Frederick’s longest-running art co-op, opening a new gallery space, we asked member artists a few questions to get to know them better.
Our new gallery is just about ready to receive visitors! Come by TAG in April and see "Up Market Revival", our first show in the new space.

Downtown Saturday Bazaar offers vendors a venue during holiday shopping
Katherine Griffin is used to selling her vintage jewelry at large events such as music, beer and wine festivals. But with the cancellation of most large events due to COVID-19,
FAC invites you to the opening of its new art center at 5 E. 2nd Street! Please join us this Saturday, September 5th, from 12-8 pm.
The opening will feature the premiere of FAC's first public art exhibition in the space, "A Community Story." The exhibition is interactive and developing, and community members are asked to bring in photos and objects that represent their personal or family culture. These images and objects will be displayed alongside larger photos from the Golden Mile in Focus accompanying exhibition by award-winning photographer Wing Young Huie.
Masks will be required while in the art center and capacity will be monitored for social distancing. Refreshments will be served outside.
