CSTL (The Center for Science Teaching and Learning) is located on the Tanglewood Preserve in Nassau County.
Tanglewood is a 17 acre preserve with three buildings, a greenhouse, ponds, streams, and nature trails throughout. The facility can accommodate large groups simultaneously.
We offer a variety of programs for children and families such as:

With over 30 years experience teaching science, our staff includes; Certified Teachers in Biology, Earth Science, Physics & Chemistry and Scientists. We look forward to working with you to create a journey into the World of Science.
The new and exciting news at CSTL, is in addition to our Live Animal Exhibit, we are expanding to include a new exhibit hall which will feature a Dinosaur Exhibit and a Live Butterfly Conservatory.
