π It's alive!!! (Well, not really β but it sure looks like it!)
Baking soda + vinegar + a splash of color = the most satisfying fizz you'll ever see. π«§
Here's what's actually happening: Baking soda is a base and vinegar is an acid β and when they meet, they react! They produce carbon dioxide gas, which is the same gas you breathe out. That gas is what creates all those amazing bubbles and makes the mixture foam and overflow.
The food coloring doesn't change the science at all β it just makes it way more fun to watch π¨
